rrcarter@phonodoc.comOur steel phonograph needles are made from properly tempered steel, points ground and then nickel-plated. Both loud-tone and soft-tone are available. It is recommended that they be used no more than one or two times. They should never be removed and reused. During play the record will form flat sides on the needle. Reinsertion of the needle may cut into the grooves and distort them.
